Downingtown Area Robotics will be doing VEX presentations for the Girl Scouts as part of the "Gears for Girls" program.

12/05/2009 - Penn State Abington - Vex Clean Sweep
This is a Clean Sweep scrimmage, set up as a "Ready, Set, Go" event. When your robot is ready to compete get set up in the queue and Go play! Last year we had a robot that competed over 20 times. This is a great chance for you to bring your robots and practice against a number of great teams.
This is a STEMRobotics sponsored event, come on over for robots and free pizza / soda sponsored by Abington Bank and Penn State.
Doors open at 8:30AM, first match at 9:30AM, pizza at noon. Last match starts at 3:55PM.

02/20/2010 - Vex - Middle School Competition, Baltimore, MD
This is limited to just middle school teams in Baltimore. But it is a chance to see young engineers create some amazing robots.
02/26 and 02/27/2010 - Atlantic Coast Championships
This is a two day event with the possibility of over 100 teams competing on four fields.
03/13/2010 - Vex - Eastern PA Regionals at Downingtown, PA
Sponsored by STEMRobotics and Downingtown Area Robotics
04/10/2010 - Vex - La Plata, MD
04/22/2010 - Vex - World Championships
These are held in Dallas TX, its a three day event. Hope your robot is good enough to make it!
